What I wanted to solve.
When we got our Tesla, we loved it every aspect of it, except having to wind the thick cord every time we use the car, as we were forced to put the charger far away from the charge port. The obvious solution was to somehow mount the cable right across the charge port. Little did I know, this is a common problem, and not a single product checked all the boxes for the perfect charger holder, UNTIL NOW.

How?
Problems with existing products.
Similar existing products use the same method to hold the NACS charger connector. In some scenarios this method is less than ideal. They leverage gravity to pull the charger connector down into a slot system.
1. The problem is the slots can be tricky to properly align.
2. The cable can be stiff in the cold and force itself out of the holder.

3. The charger connector needs to perpendicular to the wall for this method to work. This causes the connector to stick out from the wall, making it tricky to maneuver a car around it in a tight garage.
THE SOLUTION.
The New NACS charger.
The Tesla charger connector is the most used charger in the US. Recently it was deemed the North American Charging Standard, so all new electric vehicles will now use this charger connector. There for, we cannot change the charger connector just to make it easier to store.
The new standard.
My new charger holder invention is the perfect solution, it introduces an artificial force to hold the charger connector with 0 compromises.
